Diver Helper

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Diver Helper to join our talented team. In this role, you will assist professional divers with a variety of tasks during underwater operations. A solid foundation in teamwork, physical fitness, and attention to safety protocols is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support divers throughout underwater operations ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Assist in the transport and setup of diving gear.
• Participate in safety drills and training as required.
• Help in maintaining equipment and tools to ensure operational readiness.
• Support the documentation of operational details accurately.
• Work collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
• Be proactive in identifying potential hazards and addressing them.
• Follow all safety regulations and maritime guidelines.
• Stay updated on diving techniques and safety protocols.
• Aid in post-dive procedures including inspections and clean-up.

Requirements

Education

• Valid Diver Helper Certification
• First Aid and CPR Certification (preferred)

Experience

• Familiarity with maritime or construction industry practices is a plus.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of ROV Operations: Experience with remotely operated vehicles would be an advantage.
