Job Description

As a Bale Sewer, your primary responsibility will be sewing and repairing textile bales, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Attention to detail and machine proficiency are essential in this role, contributing significantly to our sustainability efforts.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines for bale repair and maintenance.
• Monitor stitching quality and perform regular inspections.
• Keep the workspace organized and adhere to safety protocols.
• Work closely with fellow team members to achieve production goals.
• Assist in the training of new staff on machinery and safety practices.
• Document any operational issues for continuous improvement.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss workflow and improvements.
• Maintain inventory of sewing materials and report shortages.
• Assist with the recycling process by preparing bales for transport.
• Adhere strictly to environmental standards and sustainability practices.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training in textile management is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of direct experience in the textile or garment industry

Technical Skills

• Machine maintenance

Languages

• English: Fluent
