Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Newcastle team. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to drive innovative engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will focus on designing, testing, and implementing mechanical components and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of new mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with electrical and software engineers for integrated solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Review and approve engineering designs and modifications.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives in the design process.
  • Mentor and train junior engineering staff.
  • Participate in project planning and scheduling.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering

  • CAD Software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
