Job Description

We're on the lookout for experienced Switchboard Operators to join our dynamic communications team. As a Switchboard Operator, you'll play a key role in managing incoming and outgoing calls, ensuring that all communications are handled efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Utilize the switchboard effectively to manage multiple lines.
  • Report any technical issues with the switchboard to IT support.
  • Provide excellent customer service and foster positive relationships with callers.
  • Ensure call logs are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth communication flows.
  • Train new team members on switchboard operations.
  • Keep work areas tidy and organized.
  • Assist in implementing improvements to switchboard operations.

Requirements

Education
  • GCSEs in English and Mathematics
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
