Job Description

As a Grinder Machine Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and operating grinding machines to ensure the precision of metal workpieces. You will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, working closely with our production team to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of grinding machines including surface and cylindrical grinders.
• Conduct routine checks on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
• Assist in training new employees on machine operation and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Apprenticeship in Engineering

Experience

• Experience in manual and CNC grinding preferred

Technical Skills

• Grinding Techniques
• Measuring Tools

Advantageous

• Experience with precision engineering: Background in precision engineering processes will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles: Understanding of lean practices to improve efficiency.
