We are seeking a proactive Tax Consultant to join our Liverpool team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax legislation and compliance, with the ability to deliver expert advice to a diverse client base, ensuring accurate filing and strategic tax planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their tax needs are met.
• Oversee the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns.
• Conduct tax planning sessions with clients to evaluate their tax situation.
• Prepare correspondence with HMRC and other tax authorities.
• Assist in mergers and acquisitions from a tax perspective.
• Evaluate the tax implications of business decisions.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Participate in training and development activities within the firm.
• Document tax processes and maintain clear records.
• Monitor the tax compliance landscape and provide updates to clients.
