Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mathematics Assistant Professor for our esteemed academic institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality mathematics education to undergraduate students and conducting independent research.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Mathematics.
  • Conduct research in a specialized area of Mathematics.
  • Mentor and advise students, providing academic support and guidance.
  • Participate in curriculum development and revision.
  • Engage in scholarly activities such as publishing papers, attending conferences, and presenting research findings.
  • Contribute to departmental and university committees.
  • Participate in community engagement and outreach initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related field
  • Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is essential

  • Experience supervising student research projects is preferred.
