We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our Newcastle office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and consulting, a passion for sustainability, and the ability to work on various environmental projects. Responsibilities will include conducting impact assessments, preparing reports, and advising clients on environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess and report on the ecological impacts of proposed projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and planners on sustainable design.
• Conduct research on emerging environmental issues and solutions.
• Aid in the preparation of grant applications for environmental projects.
• Support public consultations related to environmental developments.
• Evaluate project proposals to ensure environmental compliance.
• Contribute to the development of company strategies on sustainability.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
• Master's degree in relevant field is an added advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in environmental consultancy
