We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in CI/CD, cloud infrastructure management, and automation tools, playing a critical role in streamlining our development processes and improving deployment efficiency.

Job Responsibilities
  • Architect and establish DevOps practices across teams.
  • Facilitate seamless integration between development and operations.
  • Lead deployment strategy and execution for key projects.
  • Implement security measures within DevOps processes.
  • Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers in DevOps practices.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to support production systems.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
  • AWS or Azure Proficient in managing cloud services and infrastructure.
  • Docker Skilled in containerisation for application deployment.
  • CI/CD Tools Experience with Jenkins, Travis CI, or similar.
  • Terraform Knowledge of infrastructure as code principles.
  • Scripting Languages Proficient in Python or Bash scripting.
  • Teamwork Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Adaptability Comfortable with changing environments and responsibilities.
  • Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • English (Fluent)
