Job Description

As a Kiln Pusher at Ceramic Works Ltd., you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. Your primary responsibility will be to push kiln carts containing ceramic products through the firing process. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate kiln equipment to ensure effective firing of ceramics.
• Inspect and maintain kiln equipment regularly.
• Document kiln firing schedules and product specifications.
• Communicate with the production team to ensure timely deliveries.
• Promote a culture of safety and compliance with health standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in manufacturing or ceramics industry is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Forklift operation
• Problem-solving

Soft Skills

• Adaptability

Advantageous

• Experience operating heavy machinery: Operating machinery such as forklifts to assist in loading and unloading.
• Knowledge of ceramics: Understanding of the ceramics manufacturing process is a bonus.
