Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our exceptional healthcare team. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood samples and ensuring accuracy in processing, while providing excellent care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of sand to various construction sites.
• Perform daily inspections of vehicles and equipment for safety compliance.
• Document and report all transportation activities and vehicle maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to schedule routes and deliveries.
• Maintain a high level of communication with site managers and supervisors.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols during transportation.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials when required.
• Participate in training sessions regarding vehicle operation and safety.
• Keep logs of hours worked and mileage travelled.
• Adhere to environmental and regulatory guidelines during operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a sand carrier or in a related field

Technical Skills

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Excellent driving skills

Certifications

• Health & Safety Training Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with off-road driving: Familiarity with operating vehicles in rugged terrain.
• Knowledge of local construction sites and routes: Familiarity with the geography and layout of construction zones in Birmingham.
