We are seeking a motivated Teenage Activities Director to lead our youth programmes. This role involves creating engaging activities and ensuring a safe environment for teenagers to thrive. Job Responsibilities
  • Design inclusive programmes that cater to diverse interests and backgrounds.
  • Lead training sessions for new coordinators on best practices in activity management.
  • Monitor budget for activities and ensure cost-efficient delivery of programs.
  • Create promotional materials to advertise upcoming activities effectively.
  • Engage with local communities and schools to foster partnerships and collaborative programmes.
  • Evaluate the success of activities and gather participant feedback for continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Youth Work, or related field (preferred)
  • Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Event Planning Strong background in organizing and managing events for young people.
  • Staff Management Experience in leading and training teams effectively.
  • Interpersonal Communication Exceptional skills in communicating with teens and parents.
  • Creative Problem Solving Ability to devise innovative solutions for challenges.
  • First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Safeguarding Children Certification
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience in outdoor education or sports: Background in leading outdoor or sports activities for youth.
  • Knowledge of child protection policies: Understanding of safeguarding practices and legal requirements.
