Brazing Machine Tender

Job Description

As a Brazing Machine Tender, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining brazing machines in a busy manufacturing environment. The role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards in metaljoining processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate brazing machines to join metal parts efficiently.
• Conduct regular quality inspections on finished products to maintain high standards.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on brazing machinery as needed.
• Organize and maintain a clean work environment to ensure workplace safety.
• Follow strict health and safety guidelines while performing all tasks.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure timely delivery of quality items.
• Maintain production logs and document any issues that arise during operations.
• Assist in onboarding and training processes for new staff members.
• Inspect tools and equipment for wear and report required repairs.
• Proactively recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Training in brazing techniques preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Experience with brazing equipment
• Reading technical drawings

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Effective collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience using CNC machines: Experience operating Computer Numerical Control machines in a production setting.
• Knowledge of safety protocols: Familiarity with manufacturing safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
