Glass Belt Sander

Job Description

As a Glass Belt Sander, your primary responsibility will be to sand and polish glass surfaces to create a flawless finish. You will operate various sanding machines, ensuring that all products meet our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the glass finishing process from start to finish.
• Identify areas for process improvement and suggest solutions.
• Follow detailed work orders to achieve production objectives.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery.
• Support waste reduction initiatives by recycling glass scrap.
• Stay updated on new sanding technologies and techniques.
• Engage in team training sessions and skills development.
• Foster a spirit of teamwork and collaboration on the production floor.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or glass-related field.

Technical Skills

• CNC machine operation
• Glass quality control procedures

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• CNC machine operation experience: Hands-on experience with CNC machines used in glass production.
