Job Description

As a Game Mathematician, you'll work closely with developers to create and refine mathematical models for casino games and other gaming products. Your expertise in probability and statistics will ensure all games maintain fairness and profitability, contributing to cutting-edge gaming solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mathematical frameworks for gaming products.
• Evaluate and optimise game performance data to evaluate fairness.
• Document and communicate mathematical concepts to non-technical team members.
• Liaise with software engineers to integrate mathematical models into games.
• Keep abreast of advancements in gaming mathematics and simulations.
• Lead project meetings to discuss game performance analytics.
• Provide insights based on quantitative analysis to improve gameplay experience.
• Develop training materials for new team members regarding mathematical models.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to implement new game features.
• Develop and maintain a robust library of mathematical models.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
• Advanced degree in Mathematics or Statistics is preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a related field, such as game mathematics or quantitative research
