Job Description

As an Engine and Other Machine Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling, installing, and repairing machinery components. Your expertise will ensure that our equipment functions optimally within diverse sectors.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics.
• Assemble and disassemble machinery components as directed.
• Carry out maintenance schedules to keep machines running efficiently.
• Communicate with the engineering team about machinery performance.
• Document maintenance and repairs in the company software.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.
• Follow safe work practices to minimise risk of injury.
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently to meet production demands.
• Support the installation of new equipment in different sectors.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational qualifications or apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.
• Additional certifications in machinery operation.

Experience

• Experience in assembling and installing machinery and equipment.
