Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will be responsible for providing emergency care to patients who require immediate medical attention and support. This role involves assessing and triaging patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering high-quality medical interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct full patient assessments and document findings in detail.
  • Work collaboratively with emergency care teams to administer lifesaving interventions.
  • Keep accurate records of all patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
  • Engage in daily briefings with the healthcare team regarding operational needs.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior nursing staff in emergency care.
  • Identify opportunities for process and patient care improvement.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to patient care documentation.
  • Participate in emergency response drills and training.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and public health guidelines.
  • Foster relationships with patients to improve their overall experience.

Requirements

Education
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the UK
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher qualification
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing
