Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed audits on individuals and businesses to assess tax compliance.
  • Identify areas of non-compliance and potential tax evasion.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports highlighting audit findings and recommendations.
  • Communicate audit results to taxpayers and provide guidance on resolving non-compliance.
  • Assist in enforcing revenue collection actions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest tax laws to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex tax-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of audits and communications.
  • Attend training sessions and seminars to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in taxation or auditing (e.g., ACCA, CIA) preferred.
  • Attention to detail Adept at identifying discrepancies in financial documents.
  • Financial Analysis Strong ability to perform financial investigations.
  • Knowledge of Tax Laws Familiar with current tax laws and regulations.
  • Analytical Thinking Exceptional analytical skills for problem-solving.
  • Communication Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience working with government tax agencies: Familiarity with government processes and tax compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in additional languages: Ability to communicate in multiple languages is an advantage.
