Job Description

As a Legal Regulatory Officer, you will play a critical role in our organisation by ensuring that we adhere to all legal and regulatory obligations. You will work closely with various departments, providing expert guidance and support to mitigate risks and enhance compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop compliance strategies and initiatives.
• Facilitate communication among departments to promote compliance culture.
• Review marketing materials and ensure they adhere to legal standards.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts and agreements.
• Manage compliance databases and reporting systems.
• Engage with regulatory bodies and maintain relationships.
• Identify areas for improvement in compliance practices.
• Report to management on compliance risks and mitigation strategies.
• Support new projects ensuring compliance from inception.

Requirements

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification
• Master’s degree in law or compliance is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in compliance management or legal advisory roles

Technical Skills

• Data Protection Law
• Corporate Law

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)
• Compliance Management Certificate (CMS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
