Pharmacy Assistant

Job Description

As a Pharmacy Assistant at Health First Pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy. You will assist customers with their queries, manage prescriptions, and contribute to providing excellent healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers, providing them with information about medications.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
• Manage inventory including ordering and stock control.
• Handle customer queries effectively and politely.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacy.
• Help with administrative work related to prescriptions.
• Participate in community health promotion activities.
• Support with training new staff when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Pharmacy or related field is preferred

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy environment

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with Pharmacy Software

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving

• Experience in a fast-paced pharmacy environment: Experience in a busy pharmacy, managing multiple tasks effectively.
