Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Civil Engineer to join our team in Cardiff. You'll be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects. You should have a strong background in civil engineering principles and a passion for sustainable design. This role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate civil engineering projects.
  • Assess technical specifications and design requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and contractors.
  • Ensure projects adhere to environmental and legal standards.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction activities.
  • Review and approve designs and calculations.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and interns.
  • Participate in project planning and scheduling.
  • Prepare bids and proposals for upcoming projects.
  • Engage in continuous professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Experience
  • 5 years of experience preferred
