Production Operations Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Production Operations Supervisor to oversee and enhance our manufacturing operations in Derry. The ideal candidate will ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Review and optimise production schedules to maximise output.
• Ensure that all equipment is maintained and operational.
• Lead daily meetings with production teams to discuss goals and performance.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule necessary repairs.
• Prepare reports on production productivity and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations

Technical Skills

• Manufacturing Software
• Risk Management

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Team Building

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with automation technologies: Knowledge of automated manufacturing systems and robotics.
• Familiarity with CAD software: Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for product design.
