Job Description

As an Iron Carrier, you will be responsible for transporting iron materials safely and efficiently. Your role includes ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all transportation regulations. You will collaborate with team members to manage logistics and maintain high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan transportation routes based on client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant transportation regulations and safety guidelines.
• Track and monitor shipment progress using our logistics software.
• Communicate with clients, drivers, and other team members to resolve any issues or delays.
• Optimize logistics processes to minimise costs and increase efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, expenses, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper loading and unloading of iron materials.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and concerns.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in transportation or logistics is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Valid UK driving license
• Knowledge of traffic laws and transportation regulations

• Excellent time management and organizational abilities

Certifications

• Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)

Languages
