We are seeking a skilled Cattle Sprayer to join our team dedicated to maintaining the health and well-being of our livestock. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely executing spraying operations, implementing pest control measures, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement pest management strategies effectively to ensure cattle health.
• Work closely with the farm team to contribute to animal welfare strategies.
• Provide support in livestock management and care beyond spraying duties.
• Keep abreast of developments in agricultural safety regulations.
• Educate colleagues on safe spraying practices.
• Assess the efficacy of spraying operations and suggest improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant agricultural or veterinary qualification

Experience

• Experience working in livestock care or agricultural settings is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in the use of farm machinery
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations

Soft Skills

• Good physical stamina
• Effective communication

Certifications

• Animal welfare certifications (desirable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience operating and maintaining spraying machinery: Practical experience in machinery related to livestock care.
