Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to manage and maintain our water treatment processes. In this role, you will ensure the efficient operation of facilities while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate water treatment processes to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct inspections of equipment and systems to maintain operational standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams for system upgrades and repairs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures.
  • Provide training to new operators on equipment and safety guidelines.
  • Respond to emergency situations to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve technical challenges.
  • Contribute to team discussions on process improvements.
  • Document all maintenance and operational activities thoroughly.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant vocational qualifications are a plus.
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
