Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Transportation Planner to join our dynamic team in Bristol. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing transport systems that enhance community connectivity and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead transportation project teams and coordinate activities to meet project objectives.
  • Implement innovative solutions for enhancing public transport and reducing congestion.
  • Monitor and review project progress and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Prepare budgets and resource plans, ensuring effective allocation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for transport projects.
  • Promote community engagement and public awareness of transportation initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Transport Planning or related discipline
  • Membership in professional bodies is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in transportation planning or consultancy
