Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to manage our busy warehouse in Cambridge. You will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and lead a team to improve efficiency and productivity in our packing and distribution processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse staff in daily operations.
• Develop training programmes to enhance team performance.
• Ensure all goods are properly labelled and stored according to protocols.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers and logistics partners.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements in operations.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Data Analysis

Certifications

• Supply Chain Management Certification
• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Quality Management standards: Understanding of ISO certifications and quality assurance methods in warehousing.
• Experience with Cross-Docking operations: Ability to manage cross-docking processes for efficient inventory management.
