Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Blast Furnace Checker to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our blast furnace. The role includes inspecting and monitoring furnace conditions, collecting and analyzing data, and reporting any abnormalities or potential issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of the blast furnace and report any deviations from expected operating conditions.
• Utilise SCADA systems to monitor real-time data and ensure operational compliance.
• Identify and troubleshoot furnace irregularities with technical expertise.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports for the supervisory team.
• Stay abreast of industry regulations and implement best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Technical qualification or certification in metallurgy, engineering, or a related field

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a blast furnace operation or a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Data Analysis

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
