Job Description

As a Machine Feeder and Offbearer, you'll play a crucial role in our production line by operating and maintaining printing machinery to ensure high-quality outputs. You'll work closely with the design team to inspect printed materials, ensuring they meet our rigorous quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate, and troubleshoot various printing machines.
• Adjust settings to achieve desired print quality and output.
• Execute quality inspections on printed materials.
• Work with production team members to streamline operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on printing equipment.
• Participate in training for new printing techniques and equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training is a plus

Experience

• Experience operating printing machinery preferred

Technical Skills

• Digital printing machines
• Screen printing equipment

Soft Skills

• Excellent colour perception
• Good communication skills

Advantageous

• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a printing environment: Awareness of necessary safety protocols while operating machinery.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common printing issues: Proficiency in identifying and resolving typical problems in printing processes.
