Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread medical documents for style consistency and factual correctness.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to massage content to meet deadlines.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of content to ensure it aligns with best practice guidelines.
• Provide mentorship to junior editors during the editing process.
• Document editorial guidelines and processes for team reference.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in English or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of editorial experience in the medical field.

Technical Skills

• Adobe Acrobat
• Research skills

Certifications

• Proofreading Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with DTP software: Experience with desktop publishing to assist in layout and design.
