Event Operations Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an Event Operations Specialist to join our vibrant team in Stockport. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing logistics, coordinating vendors, and ensuring the seamless execution of events from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills and a passion for creating unforgettable experiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire event from initial planning to post-event debrief.
• Monitor event budgets and ensure financial objectives are met.
• Develop marketing materials to promote events effectively.
• Create and execute risk management plans to mitigate potential issues.
• Coordinate transportation and hospitality for event attendees.
• Lead a team of coordinators and interns during event execution.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all events.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management or related field
• Professional certification in event management is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of event management experience

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Negotiation Skills

• Adaptability

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
