Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team in Reading. In this role, you will work closely with patients to develop tailored treatment plans aimed at improving their daily functioning and quality of life. Your expertise will be pivotal in enabling patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals through personalised therapy sessions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients' occupational therapy needs.
• Design targeted interventions that promote independence.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and progress.
• Engage with local community resources to support patient rehabilitation.
• Stay updated with current evidence-based practice in occupational therapy.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Registration with HCPC is mandatory

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Rehabilitation Planning
• Pediatric Therapy

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Advanced Occupational Therapy Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual skills: Ability to communicate in Spanish or another language is a plus.
• Experience with elderly care: Experience working with geriatric populations is valued.
