Job Description

The Hydrogenation Operator will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of equipment used in the hydrogenation process to produce industrial chemicals. Candidates should have experience in a similar role and knowledge of relevant safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee hydrogenation processes, ensuring strict adherence to production specifications.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on chemical processing equipment.
  • Document and report any incidents or near misses according to company policy.
  • Collaborate with chemical engineers to optimize hydrogenation conditions.
  • Participate in safety audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical or vocational education in chemical manufacturing or related field preferred
Experience
  • 2-5 years in a similar production role with specific hydrogenation experience being advantageous.
