Job Description
As the Graduate Studies Dean, you will oversee all graduate programs and academic affairs. Your role will include developing policies, managing resources, and fostering an environment of academic excellence.
Responsibilities
Ensure the smooth operation and management of graduate programs.
Develop strategic initiatives to improve graduate student outcomes.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of graduate curricula and programs.
Support and mentor graduate faculty in their academic initiatives.
Promote the institution's graduate programs to prospective students and stakeholders.
Facilitate faculty development and research opportunities.
Manage external partnerships and funding for graduate programs.
Enhance student engagement and community within graduate studies.
Evaluate graduate admissions criteria and processes.
Develop initiatives for diversity and inclusion in graduate recruitment.
Requirements
Education
PhD in a relevant field
Master's degree in Educational Leadership or Administration
Experience
7+ years in an academic leadership role, particularly in graduate education.
