Job Description

As a Meeting Planner, you will be responsible for the successful organization and coordination of various meetings and events. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, along with excellent organizational capabilities to ensure all aspects of client events are executed flawlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed event project plans and timelines.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their event objectives and requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections and manage all logistical arrangements.
  • Implement feedback from post-event evaluations to improve future events.
  • Lead on-site coordination during events, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Draft contracts and manage vendor relationships.
  • Utilise event management software for efficient planning and tracking.
  • Train and supervise event support staff as required.
  • Create reports summarizing event outcomes and metrics.
  • Attend networking events to build and maintain client relationships.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Further qualifications in project management (desirable)
Experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in event planning
