Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Biomedical Equipment Support Specialist to play a vital role in our healthcare environment. You will utilize your skills in troubleshooting and repair to uphold the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the installation and commissioning of new biomedical devices.
  • Conduct training sessions for medical staff on the operation of equipment.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance checks to minimise equipment downtime.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and provide effective solutions.
  • Ensure equipment meets quality assurance standards.
  • Liaise with vendors for parts procurement and technical assistance.
  • Implement new processes for more efficient service delivery.
  • Document all service records accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with regulatory inspections and compliance audits.
  • Support the technical team in operational improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
  • Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering is preferable
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in biomedical equipment support is preferred

Certifications
  • Certified Clinical Engineer (CCE)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified
