As a Public Safety Telecommunicator, you will be at the forefront of emergency response, monitoring protective signals and responding to alarms. Your role is critical in ensuring the safety of our clients and the community.
Responsibilities
Monitor emergency communications and alarms in a timely manner.
Operate radio communication systems for effective coordination.
Prepare reports on incidents and responses for review.
Maintain a calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
Respond to calls for service with urgency and efficiency.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when needed.
Update clients on the status of alarms and responses.
Identify areas for improvement in response protocols.
Requirements
Education
Additional certifications in security or related field will be advantageous
Experience
Experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) preferred.
