Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate Social Media Manager to join our York-based team. In this role, you will develop and execute social media strategies that amplify our brand presence and engage our audience effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various social media channels and a knack for creating compelling content that resonates with our target audience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of social media campaigns that align with our business objectives.
  • Develop engaging content calendars to maintain a consistent flow of posts.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data-driven analysis of audience behaviour.
  • Coordinate with influencers and brand advocates to enhance reach.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create cross-channel initiatives.
  • Manage the social media budget, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide training and support to junior team members on social media best practices.
  • Handle crisis management on social media platforms as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in social media marketing or related role
