Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Southampton. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulations. You will work closely with architects and other engineers to develop efficient and sustainable structural solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative structural designs and solutions.
  • Perform structural analysis on existing structures for upgrades.
  • Consult with local authorities for regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation for projects.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
  • Assist in mentoring junior engineers and interns.
  • Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Implement quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Master's degree is desirable
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in structural engineering
