Fleet Safety Coordinator

Job Description

We are searching for a Fleet Safety Coordinator to oversee safety procedures and policies for our fleet operations in Stevenage. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, as well as developing and implementing safety training programs.

Responsibilities

• Establish a fleet risk management programme.
• Manage safety-related incidents and respond to enquiries.
• Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks.
• Assist with the coordination of emergency response drills.
• Evaluate and select appropriate safety training providers.
• Assist in the preparation of safety budgets and resources.
• Engage with employees to foster a positive safety environment.
• Prepare and submit reports to senior management on safety performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a focus on safety or transport

Experience

• Experience in conducting safety audits and accident investigations

• Fleet Management Software

Certifications

• Certificate in Fleet Management
