Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Wind Operations Manager to oversee and manage the operations of our wind energy projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of wind turbines, coordinating maintenance, and optimizing performance.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the operational aspects of multiple wind farms.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare operational reports and present findings to management.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to maximise efficiency.
  • Support the recruitment and training of new staff.
  • Engage with local communities and stakeholders regarding project developments.
  • Utilise SCADA systems for monitoring turbine performance.
  • Review and optimise maintenance schedules.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration on projects.
  • Evaluate environmental impacts and compliance with legislation.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Wind Turbine Operations Expertise in the operations and maintenance of wind turbines.
  • SCADA Systems Proficiency in SCADA systems for performance monitoring.
  • Leadership Proven experience in leading teams within the renewable energy sector.
  • Analytical Thinking Strong analytical skills for operational data analysis.
  • Professional certifications in wind energy or project management (desired)
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Strong network in the renewable energy sector: Established relationships within the industry for collaboration and partnerships.
  • Experience with environmental impact assessments: Knowledge of conducting assessments and ensuring compliance with regulations.
