We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our IT Support team in Sunderland. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of information security principles and experience in identifying vulnerabilities and implementing measures to protect sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in systems and applications.
• Conduct security audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with incident response teams during breaches.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant certifications are a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of practical experience in cybersecurity roles

• Firewall Management
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)

• Attention to Detail
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)

Languages

• English: Fluent
