Fleet Planner

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Fleet Planner to oversee our fleet operations in Stevenage. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing fleet schedules, ensuring compliance, and optimizing vehicle usage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling and routing of vehicles for maximum efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation laws and regulations.
• Track fleet performance metrics and report findings to management.
• Collaborate with other departments to align fleet operations with business needs.
• Analyse fleet data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Implement policies for effective fleet management.
• Manage relationships with third-party service providers.
• Develop training programs for drivers and fleet staff.
• Review and update fleet policies as needed.
• Assist in budget planning for fleet operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• CIPS or related logistics certification is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in fleet operations

Languages

• English: Fluent
