Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Remotely Piloted Aircraft Controller (RPA Controller) to operate and maintain unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient flight of our drones while conducting inspections and monitoring flight data.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor UAV systems during flight operations.
• Perform necessary repairs and maintenance on UAVs when required.
• Prepare detailed flight plans based on client requirements.
• Stay updated on technological advancements in UAV operations.
• Participate in team briefings and debriefings to improve flight safety.
• Assist in developing new operational procedures and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Remote Pilot Certificate (RPAS)
• CPL or PPL

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in data collection and analysis.

Technical Skills

• Remote sensing software
• Drone maintenance

Soft Skills

• Time-management
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Drone Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in aerial surveying or mapping: Competence in using UAVs for surveying land or mapping terrains.
• Experience in emergency response or disaster management: Ability to utilise UAVs for search and rescue operations.
