Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our growing team in Bristol. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of cybersecurity protocols and practices, demonstrating an ability to effectively identify risks and implement robust security measures. You'll play a crucial role in advising clients on cybersecurity initiatives and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' existing security measures and identify gaps.
• Design and implement security measures, protocols, and contingency plans.
• Conduct security awareness training for clients' staff.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents.
• Liaise with law enforcement and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Lead projects to enhance security infrastructure.
• Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies.
• Provide periodic security status reports to management.
• Participate in security forums and contribute knowledge.
• Develop policies to manage third-party vendor risks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or a similar role
