Job Description

As a Cane Cutter Machine Operator, you will operate and maintain machinery critical for efficient sugarcane harvesting. Your role involves ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and contributing to the successful execution of harvesting operations.

Responsibilities

• Run and service cane cutting machinery, following operational protocols.
• Oversee the harvesting process to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Report malfunctions and conduct basic repairs as needed.
• Keep accurate logs of equipment use and harvesting output.
• Assist fellow team members in daily tasks and duties.
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Participate in training for new equipment or techniques.
• Keep the worksite organised and hazard-free.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional certifications related to agricultural machinery are advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in agricultural roles involving machinery is preferred.
