We are seeking a highly motivated Agronomy Researcher to join our team in Margate, focused on advancing agricultural practices through research and innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agronomy and a passion for sustainable farming.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field trials and collect data on crop performance.
• Evaluate the impact of agronomic practices on yield and sustainability.
• Prepare grant applications to secure funding for research projects.
• Collaborate with industry partners and academic institutions on joint projects.
• Develop and maintain databases for tracking research data.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for farmers and agricultural workers.
• Contribute to peer-reviewed publications and industry conferences.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science, Agronomy or a related discipline
• PhD in Agronomy or related fields is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on agronomy research experience
