We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities

• Prepare periodic financial reports, including monthly and annual reports.
• Monitor and manage internal controls.
• Assist in training junior accounting staff.
• Provide support during financial audits.
• Manage payroll and employee benefit plans.
• Analyze budget variances and expense reports.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or relevant field
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA) is desirable

Experience

• 3+ years of similar experience in an accounting role
