Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our dynamic team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations, and identifying areas for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspection of materials and products for quality assurance.
• Identify defects and areas for improvement throughout the production process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and compliance records.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to implement corrective actions.
• Monitor the effectiveness of quality control measures across the production line.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal standards.
• Participate in the training of new staff regarding quality control procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Quality Management, Engineering or a related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Quality Assurance highly desirable

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a quality assurance environment

Technical Skills

• ISO Standards Familiarity
• Statistical Analysis Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Auditing Processes: Experience in conducting internal audits and inspections.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation.
