Job Description

We are currently seeking a Train Brake Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the brakes on trains, ensuring safety and efficiency in rail transportation. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect brake mechanisms and conduct preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
  • Assist in training new operators on braking systems.
  • Document all maintenance and operational activities accurately.
  • Work alongside engineers to implement system improvements.
  • Respond swiftly to system alerts and notifications.
  • Engage in team meetings to discuss performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist with emergency drills and safety exercises.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.

Requirements

Education
  • Higher education in a relevant field is an advantage.
Experience
  • Experience in the rail industry preferred.
